Hi! My name is Ali Jaye and I’m so glad you stopped by. I’m married to the most incredible husband and have 4 of the sweetest and funniest little humans. My first two daughters were born 14 months apart followed by my next daughter 16 months later and finally our son was born 18 months after that. It was a wild ride having so many littles born so closely but I wouldn’t trade a second of it. I’ve been homeschooling all the kids from day one and have learned so much as the years have gone on. One of my greatest joys is getting to be home with my kids and see them explore and grow everyday.
Our second daughter was diagnosed with JIA at 18 months old and that has been a journey in and of itself. She had a bout with alopecia areata that reared its head in the spring of 2022. We spent a lot of time diving into root causes, gut health, and anything and everything that could help us navigate and heal her. We have realized her body just reacts differently due to her autoimmune issues so we try our best to take a full body approach to life and healing.
Our son was diagnosed with Global Apraxia at the age of 3 and that has also been quite an adventure. If you have a child with special needs you know that life is full of many mountains and valleys. I plan to share so much about his story on this blog. Also, helpful tips, encouraging thoughts and as much support as I can. He changed our familie’s life in the most beautiful way. We are learning new things through him daily and seeing the world through a whole new lense.
I love to be in the kitchen and thrive with organization. We have definitely accumulated more than I would have liked with four kids so the purging and organizing is an ongoing task I’m excited to share with you.
If you’re around here long, you will quickly see our families love for all things Disney. We try to get to Orlando at least once a year to experience the magic that happens only when you’re immersed at Disney World. We love it so much. Travel in general is something we all love and our kids have been amazing travelers from the very beginning. Whether a long car ride or an airport flight, they have always been rock solid!
My goal in life is to cherish every moment I have been given. I strive to be present and want to do all I can to simplify life so I can enjoy every little moment. I’m so glad you chose to spend some time with me.
